Field Status Hotline
Pike Soccer offers opportunities for children and youth to play soccer at the recreational level from ages 3 to 19. We also field an adult team in the Attlanta District Amateur Soccer League.
Recreational soccer offers the opportunity for children and youth of all skill levels to enjoy learning soccer. All players get to play equally and have the chance to learn different positions on the soccer field. See Georgia Soccer's Recreational Programs page for more details.
Generally, Pike Soccer will field recreational teams in the 6U & 8U (Coed) and 10U, 12U, 14U boys and girls age groups. We will also field teams in the 16U and 19U boys and girls age groups if there are sufficient players to field a team.
*IMPORTANT NOTE FOR U10 AND ABOVE TEAMS* Once a player is eligible to play on a U10 team, Pike Soccer teams will schedule games with surrounding clubs to find enough games; therefore, our teams will travel outside of our community. These teams also may play on Sundays and during the week if needed. When a player is elegible to play U14, they will travel further throughout the state to play.
Note - U means “Under” for that age group. Please see the FAQ page for details of how the age groups are determined. US Soccer is changing the degination to "and Under" starting Fall 2017 so the age groups make more sense (e.g. 8 and Under as opposed to Under 8).
Competitive soccer programs offer the opportunity for a group of players to train together with the same coach over several years and grow, both as an individual and as a team. Tryouts are held in the summer months and the team will train together, play league games against other competitive teams and participate in tournaments as a unit. Pike Soccer can provide more information on these programs and can point the parents towards several prorams in the area that offer Academy and Slecet Programs for children ages 7 to 18.
Please see Georgia Soccer’s Competitive Soccer page for additional details.
