What programs does Pike Fury FC offer?Pike Fury FC offers two main programs for both boys and girls:
All age groups are available for both boys and girls.
What is the Academy program? The Academy is Pike Fury FC's entry-level program for U11 and U12 players. It focuses on foundational skill development, love of the game, and introduction to team play in a supportive and structured environment. The Academy is designed to prepare players for the transition into the Select program.
What is the Select program? The Select program is Pike Fury FC's competitive program for players U13 and up. It is designed for players who have demonstrated a commitment to the game and are ready to compete at a higher level. Select teams compete in league and tournament play, with a greater emphasis on tactical development, physical conditioning, and team cohesion.
How are players placed into age groups? Players are placed based on their birth year in accordance with US Soccer's age group guidelines. Placement is confirmed at the time of registration or tryouts.
What leagues does Pike Fury FC compete in? Pike Fury FC teams compete in two leagues — the SCCL (Southeastern Clubs Champions League) and the N1 (National 1 League). Teams typically begin their competitive journey in the SCCL and may advance to the N1 based on performance. Specific league assignments vary by age group and competitive level.
What is the SCCL? The SCCL (Southeastern Clubs Champions League) is a promotion-based regional league. Teams begin at the entry level and earn their way up through the divisions based on performance. The highest level within the SCCL is the Champions League division. Teams that reach and excel at the Champions League level are then considered for placement into the N1 League, making the SCCL a critical stepping stone in a team's competitive development.
It is also worth noting that Pike Fury FC's registration platform and affiliation with the SCCL already connects players to the NCAA/NCSA recruiting platform, giving players college exposure from within the club structure.
What is the N1 League? The National 1 League (N1) is a historic collaboration between US Club Soccer and US Youth Soccer that unifies the former NPL and USYS National League into a single, elite competition platform. It is open to top-tier teams regardless of club affiliation and offers a clear, merit-based pathway to the highest levels of youth and college soccer.
Why does the N1 League matter for my player? While Pike Fury FC's registration platform and SCCL affiliation already connect players to the NCAA/NCSA recruiting platform, competing in the N1 League takes that exposure even further. N1 offers several additional benefits:
Does Pike Fury FC participate in tournaments? Yes, tournaments are included as part of every team's season. The following tournaments are covered by registration fees:
Coaches and Families may choose to enter their team in additional tournaments throughout the season. Any tournaments beyond those listed above are not covered by registration fees and will be the financial responsibility of the team.
What is the Everton Academy Programme? Pike Fury FC is proud to partner with the Everton Academy Programme, affiliated with Everton FC of the English Premier League. This partnership is built into every team at Pike Fury FC — meaning all players are part of the Everton Academy Programme from the moment they register with the club.
What does the Everton Academy Programme include for my player? Through this partnership, all Pike Fury FC players and coaches benefit from the following:
What does the season look like for Academy and U13–U14 players? Academy (U11–U12), U13, and U14 teams compete in both a fall and spring season, giving younger players more time on the field and greater opportunities for development throughout the year. Registration fees for these age groups include 2 tournaments — one at the end of the fall season and one at the end of the spring season.
What does the season look like for U15 and older players? U15, U16, U17, and U19 teams compete in a fall season only. Players who wish to continue playing in the spring have the option to join a spring tournament team, which is separate from standard fall registration. Registration fees for these age groups include 1 tournament at the end of the fall season.
How do I sign up for tryouts? You can register for tryouts directly at the top of this page by clicking the Register Here button.
Are tryouts required to join Pike Fury FC? Yes, tryouts are required for all players — including returning players. Every player, regardless of prior experience with the club, must participate in the tryout process each season to be evaluated for team placement. Returning players are valued members of the Pike Fury FC family, but it is important for both parents and players to understand that roster spots are not guaranteed from season to season. All placements are based on each player's evaluation at tryouts.
When are tryouts held? Tryouts are held in late May and are divided by program:
Tryout scheduling is conducted in accordance with SCCL rules and regulations. Specific dates are subject to change as directed by SCCL — always check the club's website and social media channels for the most current information.
What happens after tryouts? After tryouts are completed, coaching staff will evaluate all players and extend team placement offers. Once a placement offer is received and accepted, families will complete the team registration process, at which point a payment plan option will be available if needed.
Is my child guaranteed a spot after trying out? Roster spots are not guaranteed. Coaches evaluate players on technical skills, athleticism, attitude, and coachability. Players not selected for a specific team may be offered a spot on an alternate team or age group.
What if my child misses tryouts? Please contact the club directly if your child cannot attend scheduled tryouts. Individual evaluations or late tryout opportunities may be available in some cases, but are not guaranteed.
Do players need prior experience to try out? Requirements vary by program and level. The Academy welcomes players who are newer to the club environment, while Select age groups — particularly those competing at the N1 level — expect a stronger foundational skill set. Contact the club for guidance on the right fit for your child.
Can my child try out for or play in an older age group? In some cases, players may be eligible to play up in an older age group. Pike Fury FC follows a specific rostering and playing up policy in accordance with league guidelines. For full details, please review our Rostering & Playing Up Policy (link to be updated).n.
What are the club fees? Club fees vary by age group and team level. Please contact the club directly for fee information or speak with a club administrator at the time of tryout registration.
What do club fees include? Registration fees cover everything required to operate and run your player's team, including:
Any additional tournaments beyond those listed are not covered by registration fees and will be the financial responsibility of the team.
Are there any hidden fees? No. Pike Fury FC believes in full transparency when it comes to costs. The registration fee covers everything listed above. The only additional cost that may arise outside of registration is if your child's team chooses to participate in extra tournaments beyond those included — in that case, those costs would be shared among the team. There are no other surprise or hidden fees.
When can I set up a payment plan? Payment plan options become available during the team registration process. Once your child receives and accepts their team placement offer following tryouts, you will complete registration at that time and can select a payment plan if needed.
Is financial assistance available? Pike Fury FC is committed to making the game accessible to all players. Limited financial assistance or scholarship opportunities may be available — please reach out to club administration confidentially for more information.
Are uniforms included in the registration fee? Uniforms are not included in the registration fee and are purchased separately. Once teams are finalized, families will receive a link to the club's uniform store to place their order.
What is included in the uniform set and what does it cost? The full uniform set is approximately $150 and includes:
This set covers everything your player needs to be game and practice ready.
Are there any additional uniform items available? Yes, the uniform store also carries optional items such as warm-up gear, bags, and other club merchandise. These items are entirely at the family's discretion and are not required for participation.
